The next retreat will be in 2011, February 19-26. As soon as we have the details, we will give them here.

To give you an idea of what can be, you can look at the program of this year's retreat:

An Invocation of

Love, Harmony & Beauty

Eleventh European Winter Retreat

with

Wali & Ariënne (DE/NL)

Ludmila (CZ), Arjuna & Dagmar (NL)

January 23-30 2010

The Invocation
Since the start in 1999 in Estonia, this retreat has been for all lovers of the dances who want to deepen and refresh the Dances of Universal Peace in an international community.
The retreat is designed as training for those who are in the process of becoming a dance teacher. For those further on the path of Dance leading the retreat offers training in mentoring skills. There also will be ample possibilities to train your musical skills in accompanying the dances, so try and bring your guitar, drum or other instrument (we also will bring extra).
Special theme this year will be the Invocation.
Taking it in small steps, we will focus on these well known words every morning.
Program
We deepen the dances in the morning sessions. Every other afternoon is for supervision sessions led by (emerging) Dance teachers. We invite the more advanced teachers to guide the students with us and offer feedback on this process as a way of training towards the process of mentoring.
The other afternoons are for the astrological walks that over the years have become an integral part of this retreat.
The evening is for Dance and Celebration, the Aramaic work and of course lots of Zikr.
All sessions will be English spoken with – if needed – translation into Czech.
Ingredients
At the retreat we will work with the Dances of Universal Peace, Zikr, Sessheen (one silent day of sitting and dancing), Storytelling, Dharma Talk, Sufi morning practices and joy, for ‘Joy is the natural state of the heart’ (Joe Miller).

Ariënne en WaliAriënne & Wali have been leading workshops in Europe and beyond for over fifteen years.
Both are senior teachers in the Mentor Teachers  Guild (MTG) and the Sufi Ruhaniat (SRI).
They offer training and have students in many EU countries and beyond. Their style of leading combines strength with beauty, depth with lightness, joy with energy, clarity & focus with ease. Their co-teaching allows for interweaving of  masculine and feminine energies
